It's sad when a view like this makes you very happy. These were taken on my Tuesday morning walk. I was even so prepared that on Monday night I put some very smelly stuff around the roots of my roses much to the complains of Tony and Lucas. Oh that lovely smelly feet smell LOL
It did rain but not a lot...... we would need days of rain for it to really wet the ground here but any rain is good rain and there is even some water in the Torrens.

We had 19mm all up. It was lovely. A couple of lovely grey days! (But I want more - so greedy)
It's so nice not to have to get up early to water the vegies :-) Here's hoping for a lot more!
Water from the sky is SO much better at greening things up than water from the tap! Hope you get some more.
Glad you got some rain! Every little bit helps.
So glad you got a drizzle, I remember the long hot days of summer last year, and how I wished it would rain.
sending you rainbow thoughts!
people probably think we are weird, but all i really wanted to do on tuesday was sit on my front veranda and watch it come down. david kept ringing and asking if it was getting in our rainwater tank (new) and he was miserable being stuck at work when he could have been out fertilising the lawn in the rain :)
here's hoping there's more on the way.

All the best!

I love the smell of the earth when it has been dry for a while.
I realy hope you will get the rain you need. Take care and have fun in the rain. I love dancing in the rain, ups don't tell anyone. ( It is best being alone then )
You are right-any rain is good rain! Hopefully we will getting some more soon
I'm glad to hear it! Hope you get enough to set things right after your drought conditions.
I'd be willing to trade you the moisture we've been getting (snow!) for some of your warmth. ;o)
I wish you a couple of days of drizzly soft rain that soaks well into the ground.
Actually, we had a dry summer a couple of years ago so I can in a tiny way understand your joy at seeing rain.
Hooray for the rain! I hope you've had some more lately! I know you need it!
I am so glad you got some rain! Beautiful pictures.
When I left home last week my tank was almost empty, and now it is almost full - YEAH
love the new banner :-)
