Our trip to the Barossa Valley was lovely lots of walking, eating and relaxing some might go for the wine I prefer the opportunity to be able to wander around taking photos.
The vines were in various states of being pruned.

We stayed in the most beautiful little cottage in Tanunda called Elsie's Cottage I would thoroughly recommend it, it was lovely.
A visit to Henschke's winery where you can buy a 1986 bottle of "Hill of Grace" wine for $617.00 mind you they do come a little or a lot more expensive .

Such beautiful photos- makes me feel homesick!
as usual, and as expected, beautiful photos Leanne, thanks for sharing them with us. I am fortunate enough to have been to the Barossa Valley, a beautiful spot. Is that one armed hanging shot implying that Mel had a tipple or two?
Thanks Leanne.....the Day Off Peter statue will have new meaning for me now when I pass it on my way to work each day!!...trust Mel to be playing the horses a***! It's just as well I don't drink or I would never arrive at work sober! Thanks for giving me another perspective of the place I call home!
Your photos are beautiful Leanne. Glad to read you had a great time in Loxton...my home town! Sad news that Almond Grove Craft is closing down though. Big bargains to be had there at the moment!
Looks like a wonderful time. Love your peacock banner photo. Gorgeous!
Lovely pictures Leanne. Love the peacock too.
Wow! Beautiful new banner!
Thank you for a beautiful tour!
How about Mel, does he still have a hangover...? LOL!
I can tell by the gorgeous photos that you had a great holiday. I didn't know that Mel liked wine!?! You just never know what he's going to do next, eh? LOL
The pictures are just lovely, Thank you for the tour :-)
Amazing photos and looks like a good trip lots of happy happening! That Mel looks like so much fun to have on vacation.
I'm thinking that Mel needs to get into an AA program! LoL... that's what happens when the adults are busy taking photo's!!!! Maybe he ought to switch to grape juice... that's what I drink! No worries that way!
I love it too. Thank you for sharing, I love to see pictures from your country so far away.
I'm surprised Mel ( cough cough ) wasn't legless :-)
That Mel ... sure gets in on some great adventures! Lovely scenery ... I think you should pack me along instead of Mel next time.
love the pics........maybe Mel needs to go to dryout..........lol.....
