Anzac Day

This morning saw Gemma, Lucas and I up early and down to Semaphore for the dawn service. It was a cold morning but no rain. Each year more and more people young and old are going to the dawn service which is a good thing.

Our sunrises and sunsets have been spectacular of late.

Sunset

Yesterday wasn't a particularly sunny day but as I was heading home from the shops I noticed the pelicans feeding on the lake. I quickly unloaded the shopping and walked around the corner.
The seagulls and pelicans were having a feast.

Then they were off across the lake to see if the other spot the gulls were gathering at had better fish.

Fabulous photographs Leanne. Aren't pelicans amazing birds. I like how in one of the photo's there is a cheeky seagull standing on a pelicans body. I once saw a seagull at the beach walk over a man who was sunbathing and it stood on his chest for a few minutes. So funny.

Your pic's are great! Isn't it wonderful to be able to take time to watch nature? There is just something relaxing knowing that we aren't the only ones that need to "go get groceries". LoL... enjoy your week!
