New carpet

The prospect of new carpet sounds really nice..................BUT to have the entire contents of your house in one room is very challenging. I am only just getting the house back into order. The new carpet is lovely, I have thrown out so much stuff........you know stuff that you think you will use but never do and now that I have thrown it away it will be the very thing I need in the coming weeks LOL.
I had to empty my sewing room there were some interesting finds there, jelly rolls layer cakes etc etc etc.
I have also had a very sight cold but with any form of cold for me I end up with a cough that goes on for weeks and weeks.
IF I suddenly stop posting and commenting in blogland you know Tony has carried out his threat to smother me with a pillow. I cough all night long.
I have been slowly playing with my hexagons.....I really enjoy the process.
Thank you to my helper Gemma.

That's a real challenge! That is why we are not getting our wooden floor done again.
Great hexagon project! Love the white you used to it.

Sorry about the coughing... Have you tried a little sip of whisky right before you go to bed?!? Tastes BAD, but actually do good!

The hexies look great. Coincidently I have just started hexies too - I can see I will be hooked. Your fussy cutting is great!

Your hexagons are very interesting because it seems that each flower reproduces a real one.
You must tell Tony that your web-friends want you even with cough and so he must endure.

wow - beautiful hexagons. i am reminded that i started them some time ago and have now put them aside....must look them up again.
hope you feel better soon - no doubt your cold is from all the dust that comes with getting new carpet!!
take care and make sure that you rest lots (that means getting everyone else to do your housework ;-)

One girl with eye for detail I would say. The hexagons formed into flowers make a beautiful picture. All your flowers in the real and on the bags are stunning.

Um, I am not a Doctor but have you been tested for Asthma?? A lingering night cough after a cold is often a sign. (not picked up very often either)
Insist your GP put you on the testing machine.
The carpet dust from old AND new are probably not helping either.
LOVE the flower photos and the hexies....mmmm...wonder if I need another project?? LOL
