About Me

My photo
Married to Tony mother to 2 children Lucas 23, Gemma 26 & her boyfriend Sean. Carer for 2 crazy Jack Russells. I'm dyslexic so excuse any mistakes. The Stitching Room is where I spend my time playing with Clarice (my camera) and Bernie (my sewing machine). Come on in and see what I'm up to.

Transmision resumes

I have been absent for a while. Lots of things happening in my life. Moving into our beach house at Port Elliot being the most exciting thing. This is the view from the balcony.

My view

We are one street back from the beach but I can see the water between the houses across from us. I can hear the waves pounding the shore, it is perfect.

I also have a wonderful view of the hills out of the kitchen windows.

My view

On one of my many trips back and forward I stopped to take these snaps of the Corellas feeding on pine cones. I could actually hear them munching on the cones while I was taking the photo.

I had a couple of days in Moonta looking after my mum and Charlotte, here she is playing in the rain.

On our first weekend at Port Elliot Sean went for a surf and we went for a walk. Note lack of suitable foot wear on Lucas and Tony.

The Family

I have done very little sewing but have taken lots of walking pictures so will be back soon with some more snaps.

Having visited Port Elliot in January I can just about imagine how peaceful your new home town is! No wonder sewing has taken a holiday! Love the new header too!

I so love Pt Elliot. I could hear the ocean reading your description of your views. Looking forward to more snaps! (You know us sewers. We're all about the eyecandy - and it doesn't have to be sewing related!)
