Heat wave

We have had some very hot days of late which means I did get some stitching done. When the temperature reached 41 C (106 F) for 3 consecutive days it is classed as a heatwave, it got down to a very cool 29 C (84 F) over night. Luckily our house is airconditioned so it was the perfect excuse to stitch. I have now finished the 2 wall quilts for my friends twin grand daughters. I will parcel them up today and post them of to England.
I love this quote from Winnie the Pooh and thought it was just perfect for twins.
I used a Rosalie Quinlan design for the label.

I wish you all a safe and happy 2008.

Happy New Year Leanne to you and your family. Your sticheries are soo cute! I admire that you keep on stitching during a heat wave. It’s the last thing that would come up in my mind!

Those mini-quilts are adorable and I really love the labels on the back - I'm bad about labelling things - perhaps that should go on my resolution list too!!! Lucy x

Two great quilts. I recognize the friendship basket pattern in it??
Please send some heat up to norway. I long for spring now. But I guess we'll have more snow and more cold weather for a long time
