Seaworld

Since coming back from my lovely Queensland holiday I have struggled getting back into the swing of things. Bloglines was a frightening thought so last night I bit the bullet and deletes all the posts that were sitting there getting larger and larger each day.
Today I got up and did my usual thing read and commented while eating my breaky I feel much better about opening bloglines I am not going to ponder over what I have missed and just move on.

Let me take you to Seaworld in sunny Queensland.

Seaworld

I loved this fellow he was amazing such powerful creatures.

I wished I could have done this.

Seaworld

These made me smile I don't know anyone on this ride but when you study it....
the girl in the top right hand corner "it's a walk in the park a bit boring really"
The ? mother and daughter in the middle on the left with eyes closed and terrified.
The dad at the front telling his son "it's not that scary".

Seaworld

I also love this photo again I don't know the girl but look at that gentle kiss and huge smile.

Seaworld

There is a lot of talk about keeping wild animals in captivity but I truly think that these animals are well cared for. I wonder if in the future this is all that will be....... as we are not treating our planet very well. We had drinks one night while staying with my friend with the HR manager of Seaworld and I asked about the dolphins he said most had been breed at seaworld from resue dolphins.

I have a similiar snap of the teen when he was just 7 or so, with that same euphoric look on his face as he was getting a smooch from a dolphin.
Lovely photo's!
and Good for you!
When I am away for days and open up my reader and see numbers in the 500"s... I just want to hide.
LOL
How do they manage to have so much to say??

Love the polar bear photos! Looks like a fun trip! We used to have a Sea World here in Ohio about an hour from us but it closed down many years ago. I miss it.

Bloglines is scary even when you've been away for a couple of days! Looks like you had a fun time. Dophins sonic sounds are supposed to be quite healing ... if you are with them in the water ... the vibrations. Interesting eh?

I'd like to know what camera you use too, fabulous photos! I love SeaWorld, went there lots as a kid and a teenager, I've seen it change from no rides to what it is today. I took my son a couple of years ago and he got to shake hands with a sea lion. I think they're all well cared for too.

Oh I hate that ride! (I'm the terrified one!) I remember thinking, "Stop it, or I'm going to die.", but they didn't and I didn't. Never again!

Love all your SeaWorld shots, it is such a great place. We went recently too, but the polar bear was asleep when we stopped by!
