Saturday started early with the dawn service.
It was cold, wet and windy but nobody was complaining, you would be stoned in the street in South Australia if you were over heard complaining about the rain.

Then it was off to "Inspired Stitches" I stopped along the way to take a photo of this fellow having his breakfast.
It was perfect weather to sit and stitch and the venue was fantastic with lots of lovely windows for us to sit and watch the wild weather outside.
Then came the hard part choosing what project to start. Some started more than one but I started Rosalie's bag I have enough started and not finished projects. It was a great project as it was stitched all in DMC 107 so no changing of thread I could just sit and stitch and TALK.
Janelle's project was a glasses case and a note book cover....... Janelle was lovely enough to name the project Adelaide's notemaker.
Here is the lovely Amanda and Julie working hard........ look at those windows and the gray skies outside.
It is always hard to take a good shot of Leanne as she is always moving or talking.
Not a great shot of Melly and Quilty Gal the windows were good for stitching but not so good for photos.
In all it was a good weekend full of chatting and stitching.
Thanks must go to Sarah for her hard work and organisation.

Lovely dawn service photo! I love your photos Leanne. It was nice to sit and chat with you too. Wasn't it a great weekend!
Thanks for calling me lovely, someone said I was the noisy one when I rocked up on Saturday and I haven't quite recovered from that. Lovely pictures, your project ones are better than mine I think I was a bit distracted when I took them so I haven't got many close ups like I should have. Oh well.
Hi Leanne, Great post of our wonderful weekend. Fab photos. Im with you though the window light was fantastic for sewing but not good for photography. I talked and laughed so much. I started a few of the projects ... hopefully one or two of them will get finished before next year. It was nice to catch up with you even though it was only briefly ... maybe next time.
Cheers Sue
It looks like everyone had a great time. Thanks so much for sharing your photos.
Looks like an amazing time was had by all!! The projects look lovely - and perfect weather to sit and stitch!
What a fun time. I wish I had something like that to go to here in Texas. I would probably have to organize it myself, though, and that would take a lot of the fun out of it. lol
BTW how is that gorgeous little bundle known as Charlotte Rose? What an incredibly adorable baby!
Happy stitching,
Susan
