A friend asked me if I could make her a coin purse so after a bit of fiddling and drawing this is what I came up with.
The one on the right is my first attempt.
The one on the right is my first attempt.
This was my second attempt with a stitchery from Cinderberry Stitches on the side.
This morning saw me up early to beat the heat.
A walk along the Linear Park.
People can agist their horses along the river.
It wouldn't be a walk for me with out some bird snaps.
Such love and trust.

ps whilst you were walking i was in 7th heaven at grange - i love the beach :)
Your purses are lovely Leanne. I love your photos too - they are gorgeous. Do you have any of your Jack Russells? I remember seeing one where it was hanging out of its basket with the caption "I'm not comfortable". I still laugh to myself whenever I think of that pic as we had an almost identical one with our sadly departed pooch! Jill x

There is no animal more magnificent than the horse. Cute coin purses! Love the stitchery.
Very cute purses love the stitchery. As you can see I am alive and kicking. Finished another block of Tail feathers in hospital and a joseph block. Nothing sewn today though as I am recovering from the drive home...
Love your coin purses and Thanks so much for postin the wonderful bird photos. It is nice to see there is water up that end and everything is looking so alive as the outlet was so dry the other day.

I adore that little purse with the bird on it. Gorgeous! Fabulous photos too.
You live in such a lovely country, Leanne!
Thank you for sharing the great pictures. I actually see a 'lepelaar' the bird with a round beak. 'lepel' = spoon in Dutch.
