Please don't give up on me all my stitching friends......my work is moving so life is hectic I haven't held a needle in over 2 weeks.......I think there is a light at the end of the tunnel and life will get back to normal.
On Sunday we had lunch at The Bridgewater Mill.
What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

You eat with the gentle sounds of the water turning the huge wheel.
Look who was sleeping in a tree.
If you want to see more that is happening around the world head over here.

Wonderful Water mill and great photos.
Beautiful area and you photographed it well!
Leanne: We get squirrels in the tree and you get Koala. Those were really neat photos.
Excellent post! I love water wheels.
Everything looks so perfect especially with the water running..
Sometimes real life takes over for quilting and stitching, it happens to all the time.
What was that on the tree? Oh I like stone buildings very much. Thanks for showing your world to us.
Here in Laxey we have the oldest working Watermill in the world. Not much else but we do have that. We don't have koalas though.
It's nice this World trip with you.
You are a good guide.
ciao ciao and HAPPY 2009
I lurve the look of that lunch setting - I hope the food matched up with the ambience :)
What a lovely spot for lunch. That is quite the water wheel! Hopefully your life will slow up soon ... give you some breather time!
That's one big water wheel! Impressive.
What a beautiful old mill, and what a pleasant place to eat. Must be fun to see a koala casually climbing about.
LOVELY photos....and it would be SUCH FUN to see a koala nearby. Not being familiar with them, I have to ask.....are they pesty or a nuisance (like our squirrels can be here) or are they timid of humans and keep their distance?
Great to see the Koala opulation on the increase again. They're even playing chicken on the Freeway. Would you believe it, we had a Bilby in our garden on Mt.Lofty.
How nice to have a resturant at that charming old mill, and company too. Hope the food was good. Thank you for the tour.
We have a mill in our Bridgewater, and it has a water wheel, but we don't have those critters in the trees of Connecticut! Great photos.
What a beautiful way to spend your time. If you are not stitching, it's better than housework!
Cheers
Shari
Great shots! Where my daughter lives in Queensland there are no koalas. I have seen them in the zoo of course and I like those animals. I like all the animals in Australia, even the crocs, though at a distance! This summer I saw a goanna for the first time!
Looks like a lovely place to have your lunch!
what a gorgeous place. and a koala...live, right there...how cool is that!!!
I've never been there - I've always been meaning to go there, but never actually made it. It looks rather inviting.

As if we could give up on you Leanne!! Who would tell us all about cheeky Mel! Dont you get frustrated when everyday living interfers with Stitching sometimes? I know I do!! Cathy
I am glad you had a wonderful time! Life is hectic, we all need a fun meal by a cascading water wheel, right? Like your wildlife!
Looks so lovely! Wish I was there with you! Great photos Leanne.
Great photos! I would love to visit there.
