Today while the temperature got to 39C -102F I enjoyed the day stitching at the State library. Amanda, Viv and I went to a workshop with Liuxin The Thimble lady.
It was a fun day and I learnt lots of tip and tricks to better my needle turn applique.
I could not resist these photos I have never been to the Mortlock wing of the library but if you are ever in the city it is well worth a visit.
It was a lovely peaceful place to sit and stitch.

Beautiful photos as well.
Wow, what a gorgeous place!! Just draws you in...our library is quite modern, but doesn't have nearly the selection of books that you have.
