Haven't they grown

On my way to work in the morning I drive along the river Torrens. The swans come right up close to the edge of the road at night when they have babies. I took these photos a few weeks ago. There are lots of babies but these 2, I'm not sure if they are mother and father had quite a few babies with them.
I took these photos today they have really grown. The babies are now getting feathers and loosing there downy type feathers.
They were not at all worried about me getting close to them. As a matter of fact I was a little concerned they might give me a peck.

As spring is here the Rainbow Lorakeets in the trees at the front of my work have been very noisy.

Hi Leanne, I can't imagine being in a country where you have Rainbow Lorakeets as "normal" birds! How amazing to someone from England where the most exotic bird we get to see easily is a goldfinch!

Oh you made me remember all the beautiful parrots that used to sit in the trees outside my kitchen window when I live in Canberra. Great photo's of the swans, those babies are just adorable.

Good job with the pictures. We have many blurred photos of swans and ducks. They're always moving!

Lovely photos Leanne, I’m amazed, of course the little swans and nests go along with Springtime at your place, while overhere the birds are preparing to fly to the warmer countries to spend Wintertime. They must have internet to know all this stuff!
