Not quite a Christmas ham

I made a couple of pressing hams today filled with wood shavings and ready to use for some hats I am making. I made one for myself and one for Amanda we both mentioned the other day how useful one would be and that you never really see them in the shops.
I found a great tutorial here.

Pressing ham

Gemma needed a new bag the last one I made had developed a hole from rubbing where her mobile phone sits in it.

Ne doesn't see pressing hams anymore -- and never any as nice as yours.

I imagine that summer start rain might be very welcome to all the growing things -- a boost towards the hot days ahead.

Your bags are always wonderful.

You have the rain and here in Italy we have the snow.

We were out driving when it started raining. Some roads and front yards on Hanson Road were flooded, but when we got home it didn't look like we had had the same amount of rain here.

Love your pressing hams. It used to be that everyone had one!
