I can never see this too often and I was blessed to be able to be in the choir and sing this the first time Carols by Candlelight was held in the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne Australia.
I could get the highest notes back then. LOL...It is a tradition that everyone stands while this is sung and it is interesting to wondow how many unscheduled people rose and joined in ..in that food court.

Loved the way they all just went back to eating at the end. Great, that kind of singing all ways makes me cry so I am sitting here with the tears streaming down my face. Lovely
