Anzac Day

This morning saw Gemma, Lucas and I up early and down to Semaphore for the dawn service. It was a cold morning but no rain. Each year more and more people young and old are going to the dawn service which is a good thing.

Our sunrises and sunsets have been spectacular of late.

Sunset

Yesterday wasn't a particularly sunny day but as I was heading home from the shops I noticed the pelicans feeding on the lake. I quickly unloaded the shopping and walked around the corner.
The seagulls and pelicans were having a feast.

Then they were off across the lake to see if the other spot the gulls were gathering at had better fish.

Easter weekend

Present for Amy

I went to my first baby shower last weekend. I bound some muslin wraps and made some burp cloths.
Burp cloths for the intelligent baby who wants to read as it leaves a deposit on it's mums shoulder LOL.
I need to thank Quiltygal for her help with these I asked her ages ago about burp cloths and she said just draw a peanut, which I did.
