“Synchronised Travel” 1

“Synchronised Travel”.
Here is what to do, camera in hand (take a photo at each step):

1. First stage is your starting point (Take a photo).

w1
I started near home it's winter and I hate the cold, I was dodging showers.
Council workers

2.Walk in any direction for 50 or 100 paces, then turn 180 degrees (photo).

w3
Still not doing a lot

3. Continue walking in that direction until you see something blue (photo).

4. Make a left turn & walk 50 to 70 paces (photo).

5. Walk in any direction until you see something that either is or looks like the number 7 or 11 (photo).

Our Synchronised Travel Journeys
I had a chat to the man at #7 he was out digging his garden.

6. Take the first left & continue walking until you find somewhere to sit (photo).

Our Synchronised Travel Journeys
I sat on the edge of the lake even in the freezing cold a group of school children were out canoeing.

7. Choose any direction & walk for 25 or 50 paces (photo).

Our Synchronised Travel Journeys
lots of water laying around.

8. Continue walking until you see an unusual colour, shape or texture (photo). Turn 180 degrees.

this roof always makes me smile - not sure why.

9. Keep walking in any direction until you see an archway or an unusual architectural feature (photo).

10. Head for home but continue looking for something that catches your eye. When you find something, take your photo with it.

no matter how cold it is there is always someone fishing.

I found “Synchronised Travel” at Sarah's
who linked it from "Punky & Me" the rules
It was fun and it made me get out and camera walk so it must be good.
I have been playing with my blog a little I was spurred on my Lizzie
I am in two minds about the colours let me know what you think.

Way to go Leanne! Nice to see your area.

This is your blog - you do what you like!

what a great idea! will have to try it.....will have to write down the directions..LOL.......and I agree with Sarah...it's your blog....you can do what you like...but for what it is worth I quite like what you have done. I haven't been on mine for a while...nothing to write about at the moment...it's cold....and wet....but the blossoms are coming out so they must know something ....Spring must be just around the corner...surely! No stitching going on...but I do like the idea of the synchronised travel theme...might have to get my camera out....won't take Rose with me..she doesn't like to stop and smell the roses let alone take photos! It adds another degree of difficulty to the exercise.

I love it! (The Synchronised Travel!) I really hate the black background thing, but that's just me. It may be much better for most people. My daughter recently had her eyes tested for her dyslexia with colour testing. Some colour backgrounds help people with dyslexia read more easily. She has yellow tinted lenses at the moment, but her latest test suggests that blue might be better. The optometrist was really surprised because people don't usually change colour, but she told him she's just pretty special!

If you like the results of your blog then the rest of the world will just have to accept it. What a great idea for your photo journey. That would be a really fun thing to do. My brother in law gets up very early every day as a postman and on his day off he gets up very early and goes fishing!!

I'll have to try the Synchronised Travel, have to go into town to do it though, that's the trouble with living in the country, not many turns on a country road. Yep, I agree with the others, your blog, your choice but just because you asked, I have trouble with black backgrounds too. I find it's hard on my eyes, love the format though..

I saw this on Sarah's blog too and am going to join.
Loved to look at your pictures and the place where you live!
Here in the Netherlands we hardly have electricity lines anymore. All is under the earth.

I love the new look!

Synchronised travel is a great idea. What a cool way to see things in your neighbourhood. I recognised some of those sights!

I like the black, but it is hard on the eyes...can you make your font larger? Nice pictures, especially love the rubbish bins, very honest feeling to the picture. Love the fluffy duckling or is that signet/baby swan? Happy snapping, Sue.

Everyone's "journeys" are so different, I love it.

Did the man at #7 wonder what on earth you were doing taking a photo of his mailbox??

Thanks so much for joining in!
